We were in our fifties. We have children and grand children. We worked hard for years in order to achieve a good standard of living for our retirement and to enable to help our children if needed.

In order to attain this objective, we took out several mortgage loans with the biggest Swiss Bank : The UBS, the one with this recurring advertising theme : " To be Successful Together ". With a rigorous management and careful investments, both our professional and private lives were a success.

The Bank ...

For unknown reasons the UBS suddenly closed all our accounts and we had to immediately reimburse the interests and capital on all of our mortgage loans. This was possibly due to the reasoning of a megalomaniac director who has been dismissed. This was applied on our private as well as our professional accounts. The bank has blocked our customers' accounts over a year now without a valid reason. We have always respected the terms of the loans and reimbursed the interest without delay. We were not in debt (35 % private, 57 % business).

On what grounds can the Bank act like this ?  It is very simple to explain. The Bank was strong enough to immediately cancel all mortgage loans that were running for 25, 33 or 80 years. This could be done without incurring any punishment. We found no one who wanted to give us an explanation. This was at all levels of the UBS, including the regional director up to the CEO who deliberately refused to talk to us.

Several complaints have been lodged against the UBS without success. Even looking at the facts which talk for themselves, and the evidence of all the violations committed against the law, the Court of the Canton of Valais, the Federal Supreme Court, as well as the Federal Council of the Swiss Government, have always protected the Bank, his directors and all the magistrates who have been involved in this dramatic affair.

The consequences :

• All our properties have been seized.
• The Bank, through the means of a sale by auction, has bought the properties at the third of their value.
• Two of our companies went bankrupt.
• The Swiss banks have boycotted all of our activities.
• We are completely wiped out. Even now the bank is claiming the payment of more than CHF 2'000'000, as we have insufficient securities.

If we take into account all the financial losses incurred, lack of income, the injustice caused, lawsuits for insufficient securities and proceeding costs, the total prejudice that has been caused to us is more than CHF 25'000'000.

If you intend to have important business relationships with either UBS, the State of Canton of Valais or the Swiss Government, you certainly have the means to require as a counterpart a total indemnity in our favor.
